Our solution

What Is All-On-X?

All-On-X (also known as All-On-4 when four implants are used) is a full-arch implant solution that replaces an entire upper or lower set of teeth with a fixed prosthesis supported by four to six dental implants. Unlike traditional dentures, All-On-X restorations are permanently secured — you eat, speak, and smile with complete confidence, and care for them just like natural teeth.
The angled placement of implants maximizes contact with available bone, meaning many patients who might not qualify for individual implants can still benefit from All-On-X — even without bone grafting.

Frequently Asked Questions About All-On-X

How long does the All-On-X process take from start to finish?
The complete timeline typically spans six to twelve months, depending on whether tooth extractions are needed, how long healing takes, and other individual factors. Many patients receive a temporary fixed prosthesis on the same day as implant placement, so they’re never without teeth during the healing period. The final prosthesis is placed once osseointegration is complete.
Yes — and this is one of the most significant quality-of-life improvements patients notice. With traditional dentures, many foods become off-limits or difficult. All-On-X restorations are anchored securely to implants, allowing you to eat a full, varied diet including foods that would be problematic with conventional dentures. We do recommend avoiding very hard foods like ice or hard candies to protect the prosthesis long-term.
Daily brushing and water flossing around the implants and under the prosthesis are the core of All-On-X maintenance. You’ll also come in for regular professional cleanings where our hygienist uses specialized tools to clean around the implants. The maintenance routine is more involved than caring for natural teeth, but most patients find it entirely manageable and a worthwhile trade-off.
Full-arch All-On-X treatment is a significant investment that varies based on the number of implants, whether extractions or bone grafting are needed, and the type of final prosthesis. We provide a comprehensive, itemized estimate at your consultation. Financing through CareCredit and Sunbit is available to make treatment accessible.
In most cases, no. Many patients receive a temporary fixed prosthesis on the day of implant placement — meaning you leave with a full set of teeth. The final, permanent prosthesis is placed after healing is complete. We’ll discuss exactly what your experience will look like at your consultation.
